I'm Martynas. My wife Olga and I are a family split between London and Lithuania, and we share one belief that drives everything we do: what you put on your feet matters. Every boot on this site has been personally evaluated against one standard — would we trust it with our own feet?

Why European-Made?

There's a reason the world's most respected outdoor professionals and craftspeople have always turned to European workshops. It's not tradition for tradition's sake — it's because the standards are simply higher.

The boots we stock are handcrafted in Estonia, Latvia, and across the Baltic region — workshops with decades, sometimes generations, of expertise. All are built from premium natural materials: waterproof nubuck leather, Vibram soles, and natural rubber.

You won't find mass-produced shortcuts here. We wouldn't sell them, and honestly, we wouldn't wear them either.

I filmed this up in the mountains — there's a joke in there that probably shouldn't have made the final cut. Watch anyway.

What We Stock

JOBOLT 550 Series — Waterproof Nubuck & Textile, Vibram Sole

A lighter, more flexible boot built for mixed terrain and longer days on the trail. Available in Green Olive, Navy, and Lichene Black.

JOBOLT 5531 Series — Waterproof Nubuck Leather, Vibram Sole

Our most popular range. Full waterproof nubuck leather, Vibram grip, and a fit that gets better with every walk. Available in Firtree, Black, Burgundy, Navy, Rose, Rosso Aragosta, Sella, and Tundra.

JOBOLT 553P Series — Waterproof Nubuck Leather, Vibram Sole

More structure and protection for tougher terrain and colder conditions. Available in Black, Burgundy, Firtree, Rosso, Rosso Aragosta, and Tundra.

How JoBolt Started

Honestly? We got fed up. Tired of boots that fell apart after a season, we went looking for footwear built the old way — by hand, from real materials, by people who take pride in their craft.

We found it in the workshops of Estonia and Latvia. We found boots that had survived 40,000 km stress tests. We found craftspeople who still hand-stitch leather the way their grandparents taught them.

We brought those boots to the UK. And that's how JoBolt Footwear & Gear was born.
