We're Martynas and Olga — a family split between London and Lithuania, united by a shared belief that what you put on your feet matters. Every boot, every piece of gear we stock has been personally evaluated against one standard: would we trust it with our own feet?

If the answer is no, it doesn't make it onto our shelves. Simple as that.

Why European-Made?

There's a reason the world's most respected military forces, outdoor professionals, and craftspeople have always turned to European workshops. It's not tradition for tradition's sake — it's because the standards are simply higher.

Our boots are handcrafted in Estonia, Latvia, and across the Baltic region by workshops with decades — sometimes generations — of expertise. Many carry NATO certification. Several have won international design and innovation awards. All are built from premium natural materials: full-grain leather, Vibram soles, and natural rubber.

You won't find mass-produced shortcuts here.

Our Story

JoBolt started as a search for something better. Tired of boots that fell apart after a season, we went looking for footwear built the old way — by hand, from real materials, by people who take pride in their craft.

We found it in the workshops of Estonia and Latvia. We found boots that had survived 40,000 km stress tests. We found craftspeople who still hand-stitch leather the way their grandparents taught them.

We brought those boots to the UK. And JoBolt Footwear & Gear was born.
