The Pennine Way Collection

Britain's longest and most demanding National Trail stretches 268 miles from Edale in the Peak District to Kirk Yetholm on the Scottish border. The Pennine Way is notorious for its unforgiving terrain — deep peat bogs, exposed moorland ridges, relentless rain and wind, and miles of rough, waterlogged ground that will test any boot to its limits.

For this trail, you need the most capable boot in the JOBOLT range. The 553P series is our answer to the Pennine Way: full waterproof nubuck leather construction, a reinforced protective toe cap, 4-layer TOPAZ membrane waterproofing, and a 2-layer Vibram sole built for soft, boggy ground and hard rocky paths alike. These are the boots that don't give up when the weather does its worst.

  • Full waterproof nubuck leather upper — no textile panels, maximum water resistance
  • Protective toe cap — essential for rocky Pennine terrain
  • 4-layer TOPAZ membrane — keeps feet dry through peat bogs and stream crossings
  • 2-layer Vibram sole — proven grip on wet rock, mud and moorland
  • NATO AQAP 2110 certified — built to military standards, made in Estonia

Available in a range of colours. All 553P boots run large — size down by one EU size for the best fit.
