Amber, the fossilized resin of ancient pine trees, originates from a forest that once covered the Baltic Sea region 60 million years ago. When trees were injured, they exuded sap that fell to the forest floor. Over time, this resin became embedded in sediment, compressed, and transformed into the golden amber we cherish today.
