The West Highland Way Collection

Scotland's most iconic long-distance route covers 96 miles from Milngavie near Glasgow to Fort William at the foot of Ben Nevis. The West Highland Way takes walkers through some of Britain's most dramatic scenery — the banks of Loch Lomond, the vast open expanse of Rannoch Moor, the rocky descent of the Devil's Staircase, and the final push through Glen Nevis. Terrain varies constantly: hard-packed paths, loose rock, wet grassland, river crossings and exposed Highland ridges.

For this kind of varied, demanding Scottish terrain, the 5531 series is the ideal companion. Full waterproof nubuck leather, a 4-layer TOPAZ membrane, and a 2-layer Vibram sole give you everything you need for mixed ground — without the extra weight of a toe cap you don’t need on well-maintained trail paths. Lighter than the 553P, but every bit as waterproof and capable.

  • Full waterproof nubuck leather upper — built for Scottish rain and river crossings
  • 4-layer TOPAZ membrane — waterproof and breathable for long Highland days
  • 2-layer Vibram sole — grip on wet rock, loose scree and boggy grassland
  • Anatomical, antibacterial, washable insole — comfort across 96 miles
  • NATO AQAP 2110 certified — built to military standards, made in Estonia

Available in a range of colours. All 5531 boots run large — size down by one EU size for the best fit.
